Even though rapper Nicki Minaj wasn’t nominated at last night’s American Music Awards, she definitely proved she’s a showstopper. Rocking rainbow heels, platinum hair with green tips, and a dress with some serious hardware, Nikki was a fashion-forward force to be reckoned with!
In fact, she even associated the dress she wore with her new album, Pink Friday..
In an interview on the red carpet, Nicki said:
“This dress is the epitome of Pink Friday. This is the dress version of my album.”
And later on she even pulled a mini-Kanye, interrupting Taio Cruz’s announcement for Favorite Soul/R&B Female Artist (yay, Rihanna!) to announce the release date of her album — today!
