Yet another reason why NYC is the best city in the world (sorry, West coasters) — Jackson Harris. The Upper East Side-bred singer/songwriter (who has nothing to do with Gossip Girl, BTW) has just released a cover song and music vid of the NYC anthem, “Empire State of Mind” by Alicia Keys and Jay-Z. Strumming to a guitar and making the R&B song sound so cool acoustically, Jackson is the new guy to watch. Or just look at. (Exhibit A: The hot pic at left.)
