Few people can cover Katy Perry songs and do them justice (except for Darren Criss, natch), but a bunch of students over at Magnolia High School in Texas did a pretty amazing job with this rendition of “Firework.” The entire school (it seems) got together to create this must-watch music video, lip syncing to Katy’s song, dancing with props, and making their colors (and their school spirit) burst in more ways than one.

“Katy Perry’s ‘Firework’ is a great vocal performance and great sound. I love the strings with the dance beat.”

When I worked for the art institute in houston tx I was asked to talk to some students about the school. There is allot of talent at that school..congrats, MHS
I have to disagree with Adam regarding Firework. It’s not much of a song for me. Awful vocals. Katy can’t sing. But, of course, that’s just me. And as far as the society is concerned, I’m irrelevant. So, yeah
you ass she can
I would love to see Lambert cover Firework…Katy Perry can’t sing.
