Rihanna Inks Perfume Deal! And Names It After Her Own Ink

by: on | in Beauty News | 22 Comments

Rihanna

Rihanna inked a deal a few months ago with perfume powerhouse Parlux, and the fruity fragrance is finally getting released this month. But oh na na, what’s the name (of RiRi’s scent)? Here’s a hint. It’s coincidentally named after some ink she’s got on her neck…

The name of the perfume is “Reb’l Fleur,” the same french words RiRi’s got tattooed on the back of her neck. So why’d she decide to name her scent that? She told People.com:

“My grandmother in Barbados used to call me her Rebel Flower.”

As for the smell of the perfume?

“I wanted…something that said ‘Rihanna was here.’ Something delicious and special, a fragrance with subtle hints that linger and leave a sexy memory.”

Sexy indeed. Rihanna’s perfume is available at Macy’s for $49 a pop beginning January 25. Will you buy it?
