We pretty sure we knew all there was to know about Sunday’s big Glee Super Bowl episode without, like, giving the entire thing away, but leave it to Jane Lynch, aka Sue Sylvester, to spill even more deets!
Jane caught up with E! Online recently, where she spilled on just how mean Sue will become in the ep (uh, very). And you’ll never guess which gleek she tries to fling out of the human canon! Hint: It’s not Mr. Schue, though that’d we love to see…
“Sue Sylvester is a little bored with her routines—even though she has kids on BMX bikes and jumping through fire in this one routine with Katy Perry’s ‘California Gurls,’ she wants to top herself. So she finds out there’s a human cannon in town. She buys it and wants to shoot Brittany (Heather Morris) out of it….Figgins (Iqbal Theba), our principal, doesn’t allow it—it’s a liability issue—and she has two hissy fits where she rips two rooms apart. It was definitely Sue Sylvester on the warpath.”‘
OMG. We cannot WAIT for Sue’s one-liners in the ep. We just know they’re gonna be AMAZING. But more than just funny, it looks like Sue’s gonna be, well, dangerous, too:
“Sue suffers a devastating loss with her Cheerios after the Super Bowl episode, and she becomes very, very depressed—she becomes dangerously depressed, where she’s more violent than usual. They get her to join the glee club to lift her spirits. They find that through raising her voice in song, it lifts [Sue], and she gets out of her depression”
Um, best idea ever? Sue’s only sung like, 3 or 4 songs total, so we can’t wait to hear her “raise in voice in song” with the rest of the gleeks! Can you?! Share below, gleeks!
