If there’s a major fashion event going on, you know Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are on the guest list. And when said major fashion event is the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) awards, you know MKA are gonna win at least one award for their, like, 8,000 fashion lines — Elizabeth and James, The Row, Olsenboye. But, uh, they didn’t…

So, which major award did MKA get nominated for (but not win) at last night’s show?!

According to CFDA.com, the Olsens were nominated for the Swarovski Award for Womenswear! Better luck next year, girls, but hey, they def represented in the womenswear department with those fab outfits. Check out the pics below!

    Unfortunately the Olsens now look like a pair of life long, upper end streetwalkers, but mostly sober. Ashley looks particularly cold and untrustworthy. But I guess that is the fashionable look today.
