See that adorable little girl there to your left? She’s busy mailing a letter to Santa and she just so happens to be the cutie who needs a hero in the latest holiday flick Arthur Christmas. We were lucky enough to snag a sneak peek at the movie, and got reminded of some of our fave Christmas heroes of all time! Ya know, like Cindy Lou Who?
Keep reading to see who our fave Christmas heroes are, and be sure to tell us if you agree or if we missed somebody!
1. Arthur Christmas
Arthur is the newest Christmas hero to save the holidays. He doesn’t want anyone to stop believing in Santa, so his mission? To make sure no child is forgotten!
2. Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
Poor Rudolph. He was so self-conscious about his nose, but little did he know that Santa would need his bright shnoz to save Christmas.
3. Dr. Seuss: How the Grinch Stole Christmas
The tiniest Who of all, Cindy Lou Who (played by Taylor Momsen!), was the hero in this Christmas flick. She not only got the Grinch to stop stealing presents, but she also got him to actually like the holiday.
4. Frosty the Snowman
Okay, so for years we’ve been debating who’s actually the hero in Frosty the Snowman. Here’s what we decided: Frosty and the kids are the heroes! The kids save Frosty when he starts melting and then Frosty helps them out in return.
5. The Muppets Christmas Carol
Kermit as Bob Cratchit was probs the best version of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol we’ve ever seen. Bob might not be the character that goes through great change in the movie, but to us, he’s still the hero. Why? Cause even though his family didn’t have much, he always kept their spirits up.
6. Santa Claus is Coming to Town
We love this movie for teaching us the origins of Santa and for introducing us to our hero, Kris Kringle. Kris turned Sombertown into a happy town and even manages to turn evil wizard Winter into a good guy. That takes talent.
