The Hunger Games Trilogy Fansite
HungerGamesTrilogy.net is the Hunger Games fansite that has everything – like, literally. The site gives HG newbies an intro to the trilogy (caution: this includes some spoilers) as well as news about the books and the author of the series, Suzanne Collins. It is also home to updates about the movie and its cast, giveaways, fan art, discussion groups and more. The site even hosts a social network called the Hunger Games Arena, where fans can create profiles and chat about the trilogy. So fun, right?!
As you may have guessed from the title, HungerGamesMovie.org covers the film adaptation of The Hunger Games and more. In addition to keeping fans up-to-date with the latest news about the movie, this site tracks the cast and crew and gets insider info about the film’s production. It also has international promotions for the movie, like that cool German Hunger Games poster above.
MockingJay.net claims to be the “most visited source on the web dedicated to the Hunger Games,” and we totally get it. The site’s blog features tons of posts about everything from interviews with the cast to the Capitol’s fave recipes. Fan contributions are popular, too — one die-hard even shows off her HG-themed bedroom! The site also posts info about events, so you’ll never miss a major moment EVER.
TheHob.org is a Hunger Games fansite designed for a more, um, mature crowd, but don’t let that put you off. This fansite for adult fans of the Hunger Games is home to a busy forum, giveaways, reminders, video interviews with cast members, and more. The site’s administrators also teamed up with WhyHunger, a charity that aims to end hunger in the U.S. and worldwide, in an effort to use their Hunger Games obsession to make a positive impact on the world.
Nightlock.weebly.com is home to a great podcast run by two teen Hunger Games fans. Podcast hosts-slash-BFFs Kira and Matt use their air time to discuss key plot points in the books and news about the upcoming movies. They also do an in-depth analysis of the books and solicit feedback from listeners. Plus, Nightlock is home to polls, a forum, fanfiction, and more. And they update a few times a month!
BONUS: The Capitol
We can’t wrap up this story without mentioning The Capitol, an official Hunger Games film site. The Capitol assigns wannabe Panem residents to districts, issues registration passes, and connects them with other Panem citizens on Facebook, in addition to broadcasting announcements and updating district stats. The Capitol’s Twitter feed has also been posting some mysterious Tweets about a new site called CapitolCouture.pn. Want to find out what it’s all about? You’ll have to wait for The Capitol to reveal the password, just like the rest of us. Ugh.

You definitely left out some of the best sites! Hunger Games Trilogy, Mockingjay.net and TheHob.org are great, but the rest of those sites don’t even update regularly. What about Down with the Capitol and Hunger Games Fireside Chat (a WEEKLY podcast)? Those are some real goodies!
