We know The Hunger Games movie hasn’t officially come out, but come on — it has in your hearts, right? And it’s not like you haven’t read the books eight times and stalked Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth since they got cast, huh? It’s ok. We admit it too. So in preparation for the huge movie franchise coming out in oh, about 3 weeks or so, we figured we’d get the ball rolling by pitting Peeta against Gale in this week’s celeb battle.

Team Peeta. Gale is just a jealous jerk who gave his life up for Katniss and ignored his family while he was in district 13. Peeta loved Katniss for a long time and he didn’t give up. Even saved her family’s damn life as well as her’s. He fought with a six-footer to let her escape and what did Gale do? Give envious looks toward the television set while watching the cave scene. And Gale also indirectly kills Prim during the rebellion.
Team Peeta! He actually cared for katniss.
She was worrying about Peeta 24/7 and gale can acctually take care of himself +gales cooler
I am Team Gale for all of these reasons:
Firstly, Peeta claimed to love her for YEARS. And I mean YEARS. But did he ever help her? Only once and that was with a piece of burnt bread! I mean seriously? Gale was there helping her for a good 5-6 years. And I hate when people blame Gale for Prim’s death. He didn’t know Prim was down there! Not to mention he was just trying to the help the Revolution. Peeta didn’t help at all! Another thing I like about Gale is he loves Katniss but his whole world doesn’t revolve around her and I also love how he just wants to help. Also, when Katniss was gone at the Games, he took care of her family plus his own huge family! That is a good guy right there. He even continued to help her family after seeing Katniss kiss Peeta all because he loved Katniss! Just because Gale is a little less sweet and more of a rebel, doesn’t mean he’s a jerk. He’s a good guy and he does what he believes to be right even if the girl that he loves doesn’t agree. I like a guy like this!:) Alright, no hate! I like Peeta too, but Gale just gets me.

i absolutely love Peeta…I remember the 1st time we read this book in class for novel study, i had no clue what this book was about, but then as we went on chapter to chapter, i totally got addicted both to the book and its characters,, particularly Peeta. He’s not all skilled at hunting and stuff like Gale is, i mean Gale has his positives too, hes Katniss’s childhood bff yes, but he had the advantage of being able to hunt with Katniss , but Peeta, who fell in love with Katniss since age 5, never had even talked to her until the reaping, but he had managed to sustain the love he had for her for all these years before he even actuly “met” her. Yet in the arena, he’s completely selfless and does everything in his ability, even if it means sacrificing himself to protect Katniss. Thats not something everyone can do. Aside from his selflessness, his personlatiy is quite likable as well, hes compassionate, gentle. has a sense of humor and is quite funny at times, knows what to say at what times to cheer people up and is genuine with his love for Katniss . All in all, Peeta’s an all around perfect guy..

Peeta Is NOT an idiot! He’s a selfless, charming young man who did what he could to stay alive! I like to see you try to stay alive more than 5 minutes in that arena! Especially because HE MARRIES KATNISS AT THE END OF THE SERIES!!!!
Gale only noticed that he loved katniss 2 months before the reaping, while peeta had loved her since he laid eyes on her. So I’m team Peeta all the way.
