10 Co-Stars That Should Reunite For Another Movie

by: on | in Movies | 12 Comments

Some people just have ridiculous chemistry, ya know? And we don’t just mean celeb couples, guys. We mean those celebs who do movies together and it just somehow works. So in honor of today’s release of American Reunion, aka the sequel to the 1999 cult classic, American Pie, we’re reliving the movie’s best bromances, romances, and BFFs and why they should work together again. We’re not saying they should make sequels or anything, though. Just new movies, same co-stars….

Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale in High School Musical
They’re nemeses on-screen, but IRL Ash and V are attached at the hip. Don’t you think their next movie collab should reflect their real lives more accurately?! And if Zac wants to join on, we’re ok with that too. Ya know. To stay true to real life and stuff.

Jonah Hill and Michael Cera in Superbad
The bromance in this movie is unparalleled, people. And combine that bro love with ridiculous improv and one-liners we still quote ’till this day? Come on. Their next movie has “Top of the Box Office” written all over it.

Columbia Pictures

Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult in X-Men First Class
Not only are these two lovebirds one of our fave real life British/American couples, but they’re also one of those on-screen couples that needs to make movie magic happen again. Just a tip for next time, Jenn? Lose the blue body paint. Kthanksbye.

20th Century Fox

Penn Badgley and Emma Stone in Easy A
These two didn’t win our Favorite On-Screen Couple of 2010 competish for nothing, you guys. Todd and Olive (Tolive?) were so perfect it hurt. And we have the best idea for their next film — anything where Andrew Garfield can make a cameo. Done and done.

Screen Gems

Andrew Garfield and Justin Timberlake in Social Network
And while we’re on the topic of Andrew, let’s have him and JT make another film, eh?! We think it should still take place in college, but this time require lots more making out with chicks and taking off their shirts. Just a thought.

Splash News

Miley Cyrus and Lucas Till in The Hannah Montana Movie
We guess we’ll never know if these two hooked up off-screen, but regardless, they need to hook up on screen again. Preferably in a movie that allows them to wear cowboy hats and paint a backyard barn like it ain’t no thang. Cause how freakin’ cute was that, right?!

Amanda Bynes and Channing Tatum in She’s The Man
Where has Amanda been for the past, like, 7 years? No freakin’ clue. But when she does make her comeback, it should be alongside Channing Tatum. For one because he’s a huge star nowadays and she could totes benefit from that, and for two, because these two had the most perfect comedic timing (and fine, smooch sessions) that we’ve ever seen. Ever.

Lakeshore Entertainment

Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart in The Runaways
Whoever says Kristen Stewart can’t act should go see her amaze portrayal of Joan Jett in this movie. And then, you should go tell her to grab her bestie Dakota and explain to her why they should make another flick togeths. And no, Twilight doesn’t count.

Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt in 500 Days of Summer
They sing together. They made a movie together. Next? Making babies together. JK, that’s gross. But please, guys. Another indie rom-com like this one and “you’ll make our dreams come true.” (get it?!)

Fox Searchlight

Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams in The Notebook

New Line Cinema

Which of these duos is your absolute fave? Who should make a movie again?
