Not everything you hear about One Direction will always be good news. Especially when it comes to the most recent 1D events…

First, let’s discuss the impending lawsuit against the boy band by an American troupe of the same moniker — we’ll refer to them as One Direction (US). Apparently, they’re suing One Direction (UK) for $1 million after “stealing” their name because the US guys filed a trademark application before the British group. However, their plan seems to have backfired since they’re now receiving death threats from 1D (UK) fans. Directioners used words such as “chase” and “kill” in their hate mail addressed to the USA-born fivesome. The band insists that they have “huge respect” for the Brit boys, but allege that their own music is better.
But they’re not the only ones receiving flack. According to MTV UK,
“Nasty One Direction fans have bullied an Australian girl [named Anna Crotti] into cancelling a date with Zayn Malik after sending her a torrent of abuse.”
She admitted that random girls — and mothers! — were either writing abusive messages to her on Facebook or calling her at work. Since then, she says she did not go out with the dark-haired 1D member because she was scared for her life.

Singer Lily Halpern (pictured) has been the latest victim of these kinds of attacks. After an exclusive E! interview, where she hints some form of relationship with the band’s Harry Styles, she’s now on the verge of the same fate as One Direction (US) and Anna Crotti. Though no direct death threats have been made (yet), she was a trending topic on Twitter just yesterday with comments such as ”Caroline Flack [Harry's ex] can come back, we all forgive her. This Lily bitch needs to leave.” being written against her.
This isn’t the first time fandom was taken too far. After receiving a bunch of death threats from Justin Bieber fans (AKA Beliebers), Selena Gomez opened up about how the hateful words made her feel. Whether fanatics meant them or not!

I understand that its easy to get a lil jelous (if thats how you spell that word) when the boys like someone or whatever, but if your a true directioner,and or belieber, you would be happy for whatever happens to them, not hate them cuz they hav a gf or somthing. I think thats stupid
I think one directioners don’t understand that they are just making it harder for the boys.this doesn’t help anyone! People just need to understand that someday these boys will be married and if these people really love the boys they will respect their decisions. I agree with anonymous.
