Hey, it’s easy to fall in love with a character on screen — but how many of those celebs are really like their best-known characters?>We’re hoping, well, for all of them!
But there are a few of which we just can’t quit, starting with…
5. Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark in The Hunger Games
Besides that whole dreamy thing, we’re pretty sure that any guy who fights beside you is a keeper! Plus he can bake and is a sensitive artist type to boot — totally a win-win.
4. Emma Stone as Olive Penderghast in Easy A
She was so well-read and sassy that it’s hard for us NOT to believe Emma isn’t really Olive! (Minus a few monogrammed corset tops, of course.) We haven’t seen her hanging out with Penn Badgley on any riding lawnmowers as of late, but we wouldn’t put it past her, either.
3. Ryan Gosling as Noah Calhoun in The Notebook
He reads poetry, builds you your dream house and always tries to make you recall your love story? Props to the Gos for pulling it off, since it hardly seems out of character — especially after his epic real-life romance with Notebook co-star Rachel McAdams. Sigh.
2. Zooey Deschanel as Jessica Day in New Girl
Okay, so our girl Zooey was a shoe-in for this list, but she lives ’60s mod, rocks out to indie neo-soul and still manages to rock a handbag shaped like a rabbit! And even Zooey readily admits she made up a theme song about herself — which her parents still sing to her! So Jess.
1. Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black in The Twilight Saga
He teaches you how to ride a motorcycle, defends your honor, and oh yeah, has killer abs? Check, check and check. So who wouldn’t fall for the sensitive brooder type (who totally tells that guy that you’re not into to take a hint)? So. Totally. Taylor.
Now, we don’t want to assume that these actors just play themselves, but we’re hardly complaining if they are! And we know there are room for more! Who else do you hope is just like their character?

I don’t mean to be negative or crtiacil of this post, Emily, but Nicole Richie and Ryan Gosling? They’re barely in their thirties (Nicole just turned 30), and there are a couple of celebs who are maybe in their late thirties like Bradley Cooper. These celebs are getting older, not aging. Aging means grandpa, grandma time. You don’t begin the “aging” process till you hit your mid to late 40′s, early 50′s or so.
