Now that Paramore is kind of, um, defunct, we have a feeling you need a new punk-pop band fronted by a hot emo chick to listen to. Are we right or are we right? So for today’s Nice to Meet You, we’d like to introduce you to Tonight Alive and their lead singer, Jenna McDougall. They’re Australian, which means we already like them, but they also have kind of a fun, new sound that we’re diggin’. Oh, and? The band’s gonna be on Vans’ Warped Tour starting this summer, aka they’re about to majorly blow up in the US kinda like One Direction did a few months ago. Yeah. So they’re gonna be huge.

Take a listen to two of Tonight Alive’s singles, “Wasting Away” and “Starlight”, off their new album What Are You So Scared Of?, below!

Oh, and you can check out the band on their official website and Twitter page, too!

Do you like this band? Do they remind you of Paramore? Are you going to Warped Tour this summer?

I like Tonight Alive, but Paramore is better. HOW ARE THE DUFUNCT? Just because there music is changing a little and they lost two band members, there still a band, and a great one at that. Cant wait for there new album!!!(:

As soon as I read the first sentence, I just lost it. I absolutely HATE that you would say that about Paramore (my favorite band) and say that I probably need someone to replace them. Paramore is still a band, and they are unique and no band could ever replace them. Just because they had a few bumps in the road does not change that fact. I cant believe a website would say these types of things about people and not think about their fans who are still loyal to them nontheless. Honestly, this website has just lost my respect.

this is disrespectful to both paramore and tonight alive. Paramore is recording an album. just because they’re not touring, doesn’t mean they don’t exist. and since when is replacing musicians acceptable? Like a new band because you like them, not because what you actually like is “so two months ago.” also this is pretty much an article comparing jenna to paramore and one direction, it doesn’t actually have anything to do with tonight alive’s talent. and calling someone “a hot emo chick” is disgusting and proves you don’t understand what emotional means. congrats on pissing off two fan bases.

Stop comparing them to Paramore. Why is it every band with a female lead is compared to Paramore?? For the record I love Paramore, and I love Tonight Alive!! Another thing teen.com, their album is called “What are you so scared of?” not WHAT ARE YOU SO AFRAID OF. Please correct that, it is really disrespectful. You do a feature on an artist and can’t get their album name right? COME ON!!!

this site is just for fun. all my friends and i love it and read it many times a week and if the editor is listening we would love it if we had a teen.com app so we didn’t have to go into the internet and get distraacted by a cute puppy video and not be able to read this great site. Just a sugg.

Paramore is still together! The Farro brothers left the band, but Hayley, Taylor and Jeremy just released new music recently.
    PARAMORE FOREVER!

I’ve heard of them, but I’m not a fan of them.

Okay, first off “Teen.com,” Paramore is not dead, never was dead, never will be dead. So as soon as a band’s been around for awhile, you just write it off and find a new one? One that’s “fronted by a hot emo chick” since all you guys care about is vanity and not music? Second, I find this website an insult toward teens. Do you think all we do is sit around and gossip about celebrities? What about stuff that really matters? Stuff that’s going on in our lives? This website makes me ashamed to be called a “teen.”
