After an exciting year filled with a promo tour for her last album, 4, and new baby girl Blue Ivy Carter, Beyonce was crowned by People magazine as the “World’s Most Beautiful Woman” for the 2012 year.
During her magazine interview, she says:
“I feel more beautiful than I’ve ever felt because I’ve given birth. I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth.”
Similarly, last year’s winner, Jennifer Lopez, also gushed about her experiences as a mother, pointing out the similarities between her and her daughter:
“[Emme] is very girly-girl, just like me since I was very little. She loves for me to paint her nails.”

Other notable ‘beautiful women’ in the 2012 issue include Sofia Vergara, Michelle Williams, Miranda Lambert and Lily Collins (R).
