Last year, Selena Gomez announced that, just like her boyfriend (Justin Bieber) and best friend (Taylor Swift), she was coming out with a fragrance. Then six months later, she put out a message to all her fans, asking for their help in choosing the specific scents. (Eventually, the polls determined that the top notes would be raspberry; the heart would be purple freesia; the bottom would be vanilla.) And now, the time is finally nearing — the time where Selenators can actually purchase the perfume for themselves.

As for the bottle itself (pictured on the bottom right corner above), Selena tells Us Weekly,
“I wanted it to be tall so it stands out. The design of the bottle is almost like a gown so it represents me on the carpet. The lips are fun… it makes it more youthful and you can play with it.”

i think the ad is nice but there’s not right about her face. it’s not youthful like what she markets and represents. as for the bottle design, i like the shape of the bottle but i don’t like the whole lip thing. seriously wtf? this ad is something i’d expect to see britney spears in and the bottle is something from like disney princess or something. i would have done her in a cute bubble hem dress with balloons in a park and her bottle would be still tall but rectangular in shape and NO LIPS. maybe some other decorative piece.
I luv selena sooooo much…..i am like her #1 fan and have seen all the wizards and know all her songs model my fashion sense aftr her and she is my role model! I think she needs 2 stick 2 her my age fan base bcuz we were there from the beggining and not 2 old 2 watch her on disney (im 13) i think the add is georgeous a little on the sexy side and idk wat my parents wood say if i bot the prefume…although i expected the bottle 2 b a little more sophisticated..i ssaw another dress whe did for the add that was a little more appropriate 4 this…i liked tht batter..also she is going to in a movie called spring brake and will be partying and drinking….its good she is growing as an artist but i hope she doesnt get ahead of herself and lose her fan base….the cosmo cover was pushin it a little…..i luv her sooo much and hope she stays amazing like she is

I don’t see why people are hating on her add, I think she looks beautiful and no I do not think she’s going down the same road as Miley. i think she’s improving and growing and she should be allowed to wether you like it or not.

I really don’t understand why celebs need to make perfume. It doesn’t make any sense. You don’t need to make one. My theory is that they just want to boost their image, get more fame, and make more money. Also, don’t give me that garbage on how they want to do it for their fans because I don’t buy it one bit.
