After shocking (and disappointing) her fans by deleting her Twitter last week, Nicki Minaj rejoined the social network just in time to tell her followers about her impending music video for “Starships,” which debuted last night.
In the video, Nicki bares a lot of skin in a pink bikini after being beamed onto a beach by a — you guessed it — starship. But it’s far less… raunchy than her video for “Beez in the Trap,” which dropped earlier this month and BET deemed unsuitable to air on its network. In a late-night tweet, Nicki says:
“Well I guess the #StarshipsVideo isn’t as “ratchet” as #BeezInTheTrapVideo cuz BET has agreed to show it tomorrow!
