Our friends at Smosh just launched their new YouTube channel Shut Up! Cartoons, and we are seriously in love with Wednesday’s cartoon, Pubertina! In the first episode, Pubertina is so distraught over her unrequited love for Rusty Sprinkler, a hoodie-wearing superstar who loves serenading his fans. Sound familiar? Yeah, he’s got Justin Bieber written all over him from the full head of hair, “Never Give Up” catch phrase and even his soft, silky voice.
What follows is a hilarious spoof on Justin and Cody, the girl who famously met Justin because a video of her crying over Justin went viral. Pubertina puts a video of her crying online, and it goes viral… so Rusty travels to her school to sing to her. And just like the Biebs, when Rusty sings, it doesn’t matter who the lyrics are really about – his fans totally believe they were written about them.
