Celebrities from Switched at Birth‘s Lucas Grabeel to The Lying Game‘s Randy Wayne have been busy lending their voices to Pledge Now TXT L8R, a campaign that focuses on stopping texting while driving. The latest star to support the cause is (the most mature) Jersey Shore star, Vinny Guadagnino!
Why him, you ask? Well, Pledge Now TXT L8R is holding an awesome giveaway, where 50 lucky entrants that take the pledge on the campaign’s Facebook page will win a free T-Shirt – and no one knows more about T-Shirt Time than Vinny!
While he may not be the obvious choice to really speak out for a cause like this, Vinny actually has some good advice on how to stop your friends from texting when they should be focusing on the road, an act that actually makes you 23x more likely to crash:
“You could be funny about it, you could just make fun of them. Be like… ‘You got a hot date?’ I think that once you just say anything and break the ice, the person will realize ‘Oh, I shouldn’t be doing this,’” he advises.
