As much as we love to ogle over the clothes that pop stars wear on the red carpet, last night’s Billboard Music Awards were all about the music. Hence why we’ve dedicated an entire post to the performances from last night’s show, running the gamut from Chris Brown to Kelly Clarkson. The show started off real strong with a medley from LMFAO. And then they went on to win a whole slew of awards!
And speaking of medleys, The Wanted sung 2 of their hits… Ty Burrell asks a solid question though. Are they a boy band or a man band?
Yes, we’re aware that Chris Brown lipsynched his entire performance of “Turn Up the Music.” But he danced ridiculously and he was shirtless, so we forgive.
But Usher showed Breezy how it’s done — singing and dancing, all while looking dayum fine.
And then there was Kelly Clarkson, plugging her new show singing her pretty little head off…
But we can’t forget Carrie Underwood. See the resemblance between Kelly and Carrie’s dresses? Striking.
Truthfully, this was our first time hearing Carly Rae Jepsen sing live — and girlfriend killed it, yes?
But we just about died when Carly’s mentor, Justin Bieber, took the stage. He too lipsynched the chorus, but he’s Biebs, so whatevs.
Then Katy Perry put pretty much every other performance to shame by doing acrobats and singing at the same time. Talent, dear friends.
