Cody Simpson Releases New Single, “Got Me Good”

by: on | in Entertainment News | 2 Comments

Okay, Cody Simpson fans. There’s some good news and some kind of bad news to discuss. The good news: Cody released his new single, “Got Me Good” (which you’ll hear in a second) over Memorial Day weekend. The bad news: his Preview to Paradise EP, which was scheduled to release on June 5, will now get pushed to June 12. (Okay, so it’s only a week’s difference, but still.) Meanwhile, his full-length album, Paradise, is still on schedule to be released sometime this October.

He recently tweeted his single, along with this message: ”Here’s a taste of the album! Can’t wait to release some more with the #Paradise preview on June 12! Start the countdown”

But if you don’t think you can last the entire summer without more Cody, you could also find him performing in concerts with Big Time Rush. He says to HollywoodLife, ”I will be going on tour for three months this summer with BTR. It’s going to be cool.”

Some outlets speculate that the main reason the full-length album has a later date is because Justin Bieber‘s Believe is set for June. (And, even though he may or may not have committed a crime, everyone knows that his album will be some kind of record-breaker.) Interesting, isn’t it?

What do you think of Cody’s “Got Me Good?” Are you going to get Preview to Paradise, or will you wait until the full album? And do you think it was moved because of Justin’s CD?
