Apparently, Team StarKid‘s A Very Potter Musical finally has some competition… Over in the UK, former BBC Television hosts Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner took on the challenge of combining — or “potting” — all seven books from the Harry Potter series into 70 minutes of pure madness and hilarity, and dubbed it as Potted Potter: The Unauthorized Harry Experience. So whether you’re an avid HP fan or have never even heard the term ‘Avada Kedavra’ (look it up, it’s not a good thing), you’ll def find yourself reeling over this new parody.
So how is it possible to combine all the books into such a short time? Multiple costume changes, ridic props, a little bit o’ magic, and amaze songs, of course.
Plus, there’s another reason it’s called an ‘experience’ and not just a musical. The creators invite the audience to engage in — wait for it — a real-life game of Quidditch!
