After Cody Simpson released his new single “Got Me Good” last week, we haven’t been able to get it out of our heads. Now, a week later, Cody just released a brand new video for the song. The beachy video features Cody skateboarding and cruising down the highway with his pals, hanging out, playing guitar and singing for his summer crush, surfing, swimming and pretty much everything else summer-related, so you know that means a few shirtless Cody scenes.
Watch for yourself below:
The whole video has a very vintage feel. We wonder if Cody, who is a huge fan of Instagram, was inspired by one of his favorite apps?!
“Got Me Good” is the second track on Cody’s Preview to Paradise EP, which was originally supposed to come out yesterday, but has since been pushed back to June 12, one week from today. His full-length album Paradise is set to be released this fall.
Cody Simpson fans (Cody calls his fans Angels) can look forward to hearing “Got Me Good” live this summer – he’s opening up for Big Time Rush (Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Logan Henderson and Carlos Pena) on their Big Time Summer Tour. The tour kicks off July 5 in Columbus, Ohio and has 51 more stops (so far), including Puerto Rico and nine dates in Canada, until it ends in Portland, Oregon in mid-September.
What do you think of Cody’s “Got Me Good” video? Are you going to see him on tour with BTR this summer?
