19-year-old Miley and her older guy (he’s still only 22) Liam have been dating since they met on the set of The Last Song in 2009, and even though now the engagement is real, rumors that the two would tie the knot have run rampart before. Back in March, Miley tweeted a pic of herself wearing a gorgeous ring on her left hand ring finger. She said she was just showing off her manicure, but of course, people only paid attention to the sparkler on her hand. Turns out that wasn’t an actual engagement ring.
But now? Miley will soon be showing off the real deal — a 3.5 carat Neil Lane-designed diamond ring that Liam gave her on May 31. Details on the proposal have not been revealed yet, but we have no doubt it was super romantic. We’re jealous.
Miley is clearly a big tweeter, but she hasn’t made an official statement via Twitter or Instagram yet. She simply tweeted, “life is beautiful” early this AM. And we’re pretty sure that that sums it up.
