Justin Bieber: singer, songwriter, dancer, boyfriend, philanthropist, expert pranker and, special for this week, cover boy. Justin’s graces not one, but two magazines, starting with Billboard.
A few weeks ago, Billboard let fans and readers choose Justin’s cover image, and the winning picture shows Justin leaning in close to the camera. This is the second issue in a row that Justin’s been on the cover of the glossy publication; last issue, he shared the honor with his longtime pal and mentor, Usher. Overall, it’s his third time on the front page of the music magazine.
On the cover, JB dishes, “Everything I do, I do to be the best.”
In addition to Billboard, Justin is also on the cover of business and finance magazine Forbes wearing a tailored Prada suit.
In Bruno Mars’ hit song “Billionaire”, he sings, “I wanna be on the cover of Forbes magazine, smiling next to Oprah and the queen.” So how exactly does one land on the cover of Forbes? In Justin’s case, he earned $55 million in the last year, putting him at no. 3 on the magazine’s Celebrity 100 list, which ranks celebrities by categories such as income, press and social rank. Justin might not be a billionaire (yet), but he’s doing all right for himself. He was the 24th highest-paid celebrity on this year’s list (media queen Oprah Winfrey was no. 1). Not bad for someone who’s still a teenager.
