So as this week’s competition, we’re pitting One Direction‘s version (led by Niall Horan, BTW) of the song against Kendall Schmidt from Big Time Rush‘s. But ladies and gents, please don’t use this as a Boy Band battle — we’ve already done that — but instead, put your focus on the music. Whose Ed cover is better? Whose voice makes you swoon even more? We’ve got videos of both versions below to help ya cast your vote!

We all know its Kendall. Not just cuz i hate 1D, dont get me wrong i like Niall, just not any other 1D guy. But Kendalls i just better. They both have good voices but Kendalls is WAY better.

All these bitches keep saying “niall wins cause hedidnt have time to practice and didnt know he was gonna do this.” YES HE DID. Before one direction concerts the boys go through twitter and pick out THEIR FAVORITE TWEETS. They picked that one and all decided that niall would sing it. He knew before what he was gling to do and of course he practiced. Just because it is at a concert doesn’t mean he didnt prepare for it. so jut shut up.

I honestly think Niall did a better job. He was at a concert therefore the quality wasn’t that good. Plus he wasn’t prepared to sing that like Kendall was.

I could say the same to you. Rushers will most likely choose Kendall, so how is that any different? Rushers go for BTR, Directioners go for 1D. Who says were not going to listen to Kendall’s version? I listened & thought it was great, but it’s just not a song for him or his voice.Plus, Kendall was prepared, and was in a studio (his was most likely edited also) where as Niall was not as prepared, without editing & there was screaming girls, but he made it beautiful also. I’ve also heard Niall sing the song live (in person at a concert) and have to say, it was flawless to me. They were both wonderful, but were all going to have are own opinion, let’s leave it at that. I have never listened to BTR’s songs. Although, to confirm if my thought was right according to my personal taste, I typed them on YouTube. After that, I voted for one of them. I won’t tell who.
As you can fucking see, IT IS possible to shut the fuck up and keep things to yourself. So stop acting like a 5 year old kid whining in the middle of the mall and you either shut the fuck up or express your opinion kindly without saying who sucks or who is the best.

You really can’t judge this fairly though. Niall only did the cover because a fan just so happened to request it. It was unrehearsed, impromptu, and it wasn’t really in a good environment (screaming fans, etc.). Whereas, Kendall’s was obviously practiced and was edited into a nice video. It’s not a fair competition. I am a die hard Rusher, but I voted for Niall.
do you guys actually know that Kendall made that cover in Logan Henderson’s backyard?? he wasn’t in a studio .. Kendall’s BROTHER made the video .. there is nothing remastered ..

I know there are a lot of Directioners out there, that vote for Niall over Kendall.. and vise versa. But honestly, I’m getting a bit tired of people saying Kendall had time to rehearse and make a professional video, bcuz the thing is, he didn’t. He only took 2 tries at it bcuz the first time he wasn’t feeling it – let me remind you he also played his guitar. He took his very little spare time to learn a whole song for us. Rushers asked him to make another cover just like he used to. He is still the same [Ken]dork we fell in love with 3 years ago who didn’t let fame [or in this case Hollywood Fever lol] get a hold of him. I don’t want to persuade you to vote Kendall, but here us out. Think about it. Niall did a wonderful job covering a portion of the song. No hate here.

I’m voteing for Niall not because I love One Direction. I will admit that Kendall’s was really good but he had time to rehearse it in a studio and make an actual video so it just seems better. Niall was on stage and was requested to sing it from a fan’s twitter question and he sounded GREAT.
