Yo, guess what? Yesterday marked the official start of summer! Right now is the perfect time to catch some rays, chill with your BFFs, and listen to blast-at-the-top-of-your-lungs music. With no school, you don’t need to wake up super early every day, so why not hit up the hottest summer concerts? Go wild, dance like mad, take tons of Facebook pics, and check out these huge artists who are touring the US. You know you wanna!

One Direction
If these Brit boys are actually performing at the summer 2012 Olympics (finger’s crossed!), we’ll def be tuning in. But either way, 1D’s summer tour is a must. They’ve performed with Big Time Rush on the U.S. circuit before, but this is their first time as a headlining act. Don’t know about you, but we’d be willing to stay ‘up all night’ to watch them do just about anything live.

Demi Lovato & Hot Chelle Rae
Demi Lovato and Hot Chelle Rae are a legitimately awesome combo — and they’re guaranteed to be totally danceable. If anything, you’ll get a chance to hear their duet, “Why Don’t You Love Me?” in person. (And when do you ever get to hear duets live?)

Nicki Minaj
Get ready! Nicki’s heading to the States in July for her Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded tour. Expect over-saturated outfits, an abundance of pink, and minor major insanity. Of course.

Kelly Clarkson
Kel is touring with The Fray all over the country this summer, so grab your female friends and sing your hearts out to all her uber-catchy hits. If you ever make a girl power playlist, Kelly is almost guaranteed to be on it, so don’t miss out on catching her live with your BFFs!

Mindless Behavior
With their #1 Girl Tour, these R&B boys will make you feel like…uh, you’re their number one girl. If smooth dance moves and even-smoother voices are your thing, make sure to check them out all across the US this July and August.

Big Time Rush & Cody Simpson
BTR + Cody Simpson = so poppy, you’ll probs get a sugar rush (in the best way possible). And if you’re a fan of The X Factor, Rachel Crow will also be joining our fave boys on their Big Time Summer Tour, too. Obviously, BTR rules at having excellent tour buddies!

Wiz Khalifa
For some chillaxing, it’s all about the Under the Influence tour, featuring Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller, which kicks off on July 26th. A bunch of other smaller hip-hop acts are also slated to appear on stage, but we’re mainly wondering if Maroon 5 is gonna make a surprise appearance. How else can Wiz perform “Payphone?!”
