Although the official event takes place today in New York City, people across the country are encouraged to “channel their inner super-heros” and take time out of their day to volunteer for a good cause.
In addition to the Be Amazing, Stand Up and Volunteer event, NYC has also named the week before the movie’s official release “Spider-Man Week.” From debuting the Museum of Natural History’s newest exhibit, “SPIDERS ALIVE!” to being able to create your own Spider-Man animation, all five boroughs will be participating in the seven-day spider takeover, which starts today. If you are interested in attending any of the events, more information is available on the official website.
But if you’re not in the tri-state area? Don’t worry. Just rewatch the trailer and our interview with Emma and Andrew and check out adorable pics of them in the movie below. Oh, and the film hits theaters on July 3!
