As you die-hard fans may know, both music acts are currently on tour this summer. Demi just started hers and will be touring the US (and Toronto) until September, and 1D are wrapping up their nationwide “Up All Night” tour next week (but will doing it all over again in summer 2013, so yay!). And so, this begs the question — which pop peeps would you rather catch live in concert?
We’ll break down a few of the basic facts of each tour for ya below, then it’s your turn to vote for your fave and tell us why in the comments. Oh, and be sure to share with your friends so they can vote too!

Cover songs? Of course! 1D devotes a whole segment of the show to other people’s songs, like ones from Gym Class Heroes, Black Eyed Peas and Amy Winehouse. Take a look:

Of course its The amazing Demi Lovato! Not that i dont like 1D, but with Demi its one in my bucketlist to see her in the concert.
I just saw 1D two days ago, and they are by far the best concert I have went too
One direction. i fell head over heels for the boys as soon as i heard them sing. They’re music is amazing and they are so sweet. They are talented and funny boys & wouldnt mind meeting either one of them . i’ve never actually been to a concert but i will be next year. It’s crazy how many girls love them. i Personally find them really talented and would love to meet them and see them live.
Both are terrible. There are so many talented acts, and yet we choose people like 1 Direction who tick NO BOXES AT ALL. Go to the West End-that’s where you’ll find ACTUAL TALENT!
but 1D IS real talent! so is demi! at least they can actually sing unlike so many other people. #OneDirectionInfection
And what other people would they be? I can think of very few, although Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber are admittedly worse. Still, I think it’s really sad that this world is underappreciating the incredible talent we have in the theatre world, and I think it’s time we showed them the value they deserve #WestEndFTW

I love One Direction and Demi Lovato both. Being realistic seeing as all One Directions concerts are sold out I would say Demi. I would wish my parents would buy me tickets to both their concerts that way I would see both. If I were just imagining I think I would have to say One Direction.
Demi Lovato is a million times better than one direction. I would rather see BTR than demi and 1D. I love BTR, they are awesome singers. BTR 4 ever!!!!! Woo hoo… All the windows down!!!!!!

ONE DIRECTION!!! One Direction’s tour has been long awaited here in the US! Teens all over have been waiting for months and even a year for them to cross the pond just to catch a glimpse of them. Plus there’s nothing better than staring at not one but FIVE British/Irish hotties! Each of the concerts they put out are unique in their own way. They do something different at each show whether it’s the different dance moves they do or the special bromance moments. The boys also interact with the audience and there’s nothing better when they get the audience to make glass sahttering screams! You know it was a great concert when you come home and your ears are still ringing! ONE DIRECTION ALL THE WAY!
