As if the season finale episode of Glee wasn’t emotional enough for us to handle, no one knew exactly what would happen to our fave characters who graduated, making the season 3 ending even more anxiety-ridden. Would the Glee Project contestants be the new Rachel, Finn and Puck? But what about Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Mark Salling? Well, we were beyond thrilled to find out that all of the Glee regulars will be back for season 4. Yep, that’s right. From Dianna Agron to Chris Colfer, all your faves will be back on the small screen for a “revolutionary” fourth season.
Due to the large cast, dramatic story lines (WTF is going to happen to Finchel?! And where is Kurt going to college?!) and guest appearances (Kate Hudson and Sarah Jessica Parker have both been booked to appear), not every cast member will be in each episode, but it’ll be quite comforting to know that no one has left the Glee world for good. And, speaking of remaining in the Glee world for good, Chord Overstreet, who never got the series regular promotion like Harry Shum Jr. and Darren Criss, will definitely be back for season four and will most likely be made a regular! Finally!
Earlier this month, co-creator Ryan Murphy told The Hollywood Reporter:
“We haven’t figured it out, but I know what the stories are; I just don’t know how many episodes. We want to keep all our options open. I think I have to talk to the actors and say, ‘What do you want to do?’ That’s how we’ve been dealing with it. I’ve only talked to Lea so far. That’s all happening in the next two weeks.”
Hopefully the actors have been spoken to and storyline development is under way because we’re freakin’ dying over here!!
Are you glad that the whole cast will be returning for season 4? What do you hope happens during the new season?
