Independence Day. There’s nothing like it — barbeques, fireworks and…a Jonas Brothers reunion? Ohhhh yeah. Last night, Joe Jonas was scheduled to perform at Philly’s Fourth of July Jam/Wawa Welcome To America event in Philadelphia, PA. The crowd was loving his and The Roots’ arrangements of his solo music (and his white pants, duh), but the screams were taken to a whole other level when his little bro, Nick Jonas, joined him on stage for a Jonas Brothers medley. The pair sang JoBros classics “When You Look Me In The Eyes,” “Hello Beautiful” and “Burning Up,” resulting in complete fangirling that most likely could be heard for miles.
Although the JBs have been in the studio recording new music recently, the brothers’ performance was unfortch incomplete without Kevin Jonas (who co-hosted Live! with Kelly yesterday morning). But, fans were clearly too excited about a kindasorta-reunion to be too upset. Listen to those screams!
It wasn’t just the crowd that was loving their Independence Day surprise, however. Later in the evening, Nick tweeted:
“I got up on stage with Joe tonight to sing a few Jonas Brothers songs. #onlyappropriateinthecityofbrotherlyloved.” Nick, we’ll even forgive you for the hashtag typo, because that’s pretty much the cutest thing we’ve ever read.
Joe then followed with a tweet of his own:
“Happy 4th! With my bro @nickjonas having a great time”
Were you happy to see Nick and Joe back on stage together? Are you excited for new Jonas Brothers music? How did you celebrate the 4th of July?

I remember when I used to be in love with the jobros, good times
I remember when I was obsessed with Joe Jonas. The ten year old me would’ve loved to see them perform. Ah . . . memories. :p
