Justin Bieber was pulled over Friday in Los Angeles for driving “recklessly” on the 101 freeway while being chased by paparazzi, TMZ reports. Apparently L.A. city councilman Dennis Zine was on the freeway when it went down and, as a former highway patrol officer, had a lot to say about Justin’s driving skills.
“If I was on patrol, I would have arrested him for reckless driving,” he said. ” I was going 60 and he drove by me like he was in a rocket ship. He was a maniac.”
Of course, it doesn’t help when your car actually looks like a rocket ship, but Zine is confident Justin reached speeds of 100 mph and in a video TMZ posted, bystanders (or possibly paparazzi) repeatedly say they thought he was going 120 mph, double the 60 mph speed limit. There are reports the singer was simply trying to lose the paparazzi that were chasing him, but when you’re the only one driving a $100,000 Fisker Karma, it’s probably pretty difficult to keep a low profile.
This is the second legal bind Justin has found himself in this summer. He previously had an altercation with a paparazzi photographer over Memorial Day weekend. What do you think? Do the paparazzi need to lay off Justin? Should Justin downgrade to a less-recognizable car?

Wow, I think some people need to get lives and quit wnrryiog about a teenager who can actually sing. It’s not like the kid was just thrown into music. He was on youtube for 3 years before Usher discovered him. It’s pretty sad to see you wasting your time waiting on Justin to put a video or song so you can dislike it! I think that the paparazzi need to know their limits when it comes to getting a picture of someone,chasing someone in a car is completely dangerous,remember that’s the same way Princess Diana died trying to get away from the paparazzi.And that’s what he was doing,trying to get away from them,speeding may not have been the answer to getting away because he could’ve seriously gotten hurt.I’m just glad he’s not hurt,and yeah i’m a Belieber and i care about his safety.

wow, since i wasn’t there i can’t really judge him but i can’t seriously be the only one who thinks he has developed SUCH an attitude! From what i hear about him, his actions speak louder than words and all they say is that he thinks he is a popstar who can do whatever he wants and get away with it. Actions have consequences, remember that.

technically, he is this “pop star who can do whatever he wants”. He’s 18! Thousands of people love him. No matter what he’s going to do crazy things because hes famous.every pop star does! But that doesn’t make him a bad person because everyone makes mistakes and do crazy things as well. Thats what makes us HUMAN.
