Everyone knows the drill when it comes to the four houses of Harry Potter‘s Hogwarts by now. Gryffindors are daring and brave, Slytherins are cunning and ambitious, Ravenclaws are smart and resourceful and Hufflepuffs, well, Hufflepuffs are the leftovers who don’t fit into any of the other houses. The boring ones who never do anything fun. The scared kids who don’t stand up for themselves. Right? Right? Wrong!
Not Literally, a group of four friends (Dana, Ginny, Erik and Josh) who write, produce and star in Harry Potter comedy sketches, just released “Sorted This Way,” a parody of Lady Gaga’s diversity anthem “Born This Way.” The hilarious vid (which our hosts also mentioned in The Click Clique!) encourages Hufflepuffs to stand up and be proud of their house, and since Robert Pattinson played a Hufflepuff in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (RIP Cedric Diggory), Hufflepuffs are obviously preeeeeeety awesome. And so is the video. It’s only been up for three days, but it’s already got over 150,000 hits! See for yourself below:
What do you think of Not Literally’s “Sorted This Way” video? If you went to Hogwarts, which house do you think you would be in?
