Katy Perry is used to selling out arenas and now movie theaters, too, with the release of Part of Me 3D, which brought in over $10 million on its opening weekend. In the film, Katy is very candid about growing up in a Christian household and even shows clips of herself singing Christian music when she was younger. Since we’re obsessed with all things Katy Perry after seeing the movie, we did a little Youtube hunting for KP vids that we’ve never seen before. And we found this gem of a teenage Katy singing at a televised Christian music special in 2002. Even with different hair and simpler clothing, Katy’s powerful vocals are still the same — amazing!
