Even with the quest to fill the judges’ seats on The X Factor now long over, there’s still another panel that needs celebrity occupants: American Idol. Since Jennifer Lopez has yet to agree to a new contract, and Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler‘s decisions are still up in the air, there may be an entirely fresh trio to look forward to on the 12th season of the reality-singing competition.
According to E!, ”No one has signed any contracts yet and producers are currently putting out feelers and setting up meetings to see who they can get. We won’t know if Randy and Steven are returning until they see who else is on board.”

But before you decide whether or not the upcoming season will be a drag, wait until you see who’s on the list of potentials for the FOX series… like Miley Cyrus! Though she was rumored to judge on The X Factor as well, the buzz for her to fill a slot on AI‘s been ramping up. Unfortunately, she hasn’t given anything away just yet besides a vague tweet that says she’s “got a lot on [her] mind” right now. Yes, bet she does.
Meanwhile, a more likely candidate’s name has also been tossed into the mix: Adam Lambert. Since he’s already an Idol alum, he would definitely be a popular choice. However, as recently as yesterday, Adam himself explains, “I’m just hearing about this today as well and so what a beautiful rumor. Listen, if — and I say ‘if’ with a capital I-F — if they were to approach me and if they were to say, ‘We want you to be a judge on the show,’ I would love that. I would jump at the chance.”
Other talked-about potentials include Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, will.i.am, and Fergie. Who would you want to fill the panel? Think Miley would be a good choice? Or would you prefer the same three judges?

Please not will.i.am!! He was so good on the voice uk, so he should stay as a mentor. Plus, no one from the past few seasons of American Idol were any good. Just make it Miley Cyrus, Adam Lambert, and Fergie. None of them are very talented. They shouldn’t waste Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, and Jennifer Lopez’s talent on a show that has barely a fourth of the viewers they’ve had in the past.
Hell no Adam and Miley should not! and i repeat should not be american idol judges i think either carrie underwood, jessica sanchez or kelly pickler should be judges because they know wat its like to be a contestent not that adam doesnt but mily does not know at all but we dnt want because she has a bad past and adam because we dnt need another guy we at least need 1 girl! not miley no one likes her some one but them run for american idol!!!!!!!!!!!!
