1. What happened with Hanna? Hanna’s still recovering from that time that Caleb dumped her (RIP Haleb), so she’s basically not doing much but rockin’ sweatpants and pouting. Until her mom, Ashley, makes her volunteer at the clothing donation drive to make up for that time she skipped school out of sadness. Then Hanna finds Emily’s leather jacket — the wore she wore that night she got drunk and went to Alli’s grave — in one of the boxes. Uh, how the heck did it get there?!

2. What happened with Spencer? Melissa and Spencer’s mom weren’t in this episode, so that’s always a good thing for Ms. Hastings. But Spencer kept plenty busy with Garrett, who got released from jail to go visit his ailing mother in the hospital. She watches as he buys her flowers with a note on them, at which point Spencer put on her investigative hat (again) to find out what that note said. She creepily sneeks into his mom’s hospital room and finds a note on her hospital bracelet that reads “April Rose has the proof.” BUT WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN?!

3. What happened with Emily? It’s basically a known fact that when one of Emily’s former flames comes back to Rosewood, trouble ensues. And so in this episode, which featured Paige’s epic return, that’s pretty much what happened. Emily has to work Jenna’s bday party (more on that in a few), but she brings Paige as her date, which was probably a bad idea. Paige found Emily’s flask when they were getting dressed for the party and when Em started chillin’ with Maya’s cousin, Nate, Paige got jealous and started drinking whatever was in it. She hit her head at the party and had to go the hospital to get stitches, and later finds out that she wasn’t just drinking alcohol — there were pills in that flask, the same one Emily drank from that night at Alli’s grave, that is meant to induce memory loss. Interesting…

4. What happened with Aria? Ezra is back (thank the ABC Family lords above!), and he begrudgingly attends Jenna’s bday party with Aria. But Aria doesn’t even have time to hang out with her boyfriend — who was going to take her to dinner to break the news about a new editing gig — because she is too distracted by the photographer that Jenna hired for her party, whom Aria took classes with in the past. Oh, and who also happened to fire her assistant, LUCAS, because he stole from her. So Aria, like Spencer, did some digging, went back to Laurel’s studio and went through Lucas’s camera bag, which Laurel was holding ransom. And then she found some negatives from the film and — wait for it — the same PILLS that were found in Paige’s system at the hospital. IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW, GUYS!!!

I really like Ezra so I hope it works out with Laurel as an assistant. Ezra’s been through some tough times and is a good person, like in this episode when he gives what turns out to be a very expensive vintage camera to Aria. (Also loved the song that played during that scene, “Restless Dream” By Jack’s Mannequin).
Anyway, I hope Ezra’s career settles down and it then allows him to have a happier personal life, too

i think emily had it the worst.with everything between her and paige and paige going to the hospital and the pills.then at the end when aria found the same pills paige took in lucasas bag.omg
I think Aria had a pretty bad evening, and yes I do think Lucas is on the A team, I actually never like him.

I think that Emily did, I mean what a night then at the end when Aria found those pills, chills just went up my back!! Can’t wait for the next episode!!
I think it’s between Emily and Aria, they both had rough times… but I think the winner is Emily. geez I love the show!!
