You’ve already seen the special features trailer for The Hunger Games, but now that Comic-Con 2012 is well under way, there’s even more THG goodies to explore, including a never-before-seen clip from the Blu-ray and DVD. Fortunately, even if you weren’t able to attend the San Diego event yourself, you can still watch the entire video right now.
In the footage, Jennifer Lawrence‘s death-defying stunts took up a majority of the images. Remember the terrifying scene where she had to run from balls of flames? Well, now you can see how it was packaged. And it was hot. Literally hot. She had to run next to a 20-foot wall of fire!

In the interview portion of the clip, Jenn recalls the day she had to brave the heat: ”My memories are everybody going ‘GET BACK! GET BACK! Stay away!’ and me being, like, standing right there where nobody else is allowed to stand and I’m, like, ‘What about me?!’”
Even pushing those thoughts aside, Jennifer had to endure plenty of other dangerous tricks as the Girl on Fire. “There was a time when I had to run down a trail and I knew all of the trees were going to be exploding in the fire… All of a sudden, trees are exploding and I’m getting terrified and I’m just running down thinking, ‘I’m going to run into a tree.’” We just have one serious question — didn’t Jen have a stunt double?!
