The Glee Cast Gets Snubbed with 2012 Emmy Awards Nominations & The Full List of Nominees

WENN

At last year’s Emmy Awards, we were prettttty bummed when the cast of Glee took home zero awards. Yep, nada. But at least they were nominated, right? Right. ‘Cause this year, the Glee cast got totally snubbed at this morning’s Emmy Award nomination announcement with a whopping zero (does this number feel like a trend?) nominations for the show. Dot-Marie Jones (who plays Coach Bieste) was the only cast member who managed to nab a nom, being potentially named best “Guest Actress in a Comedy Series.”

Glee Rocks!! They should have been nominated….I completely disagree with the 2 previous comments. Glee has been amazing from the start, and still is. The show started with Rachel and Finn so why would it not still be about them. I love all the characters but Rachel is the star!!

Frankly, I’m not surprised. I’m hooked on Glee; I absolutely love it. But two years ago, it was a clever, refreshing comedy about a group of unlikely teenagers who grouped together. But now, what is it? All drama, all the time – even Sue’s barely funny anymore. Yes, it’s still a good show, but it’s nothing like it was in Season 1. Rather than focusing on the characters as a whole, it seems like it’s all Finn and Rachel (and sometimes Kurt and Blaine, too), all the time. They’re ignoring some of the characters who set the show up – Quinn was in a car accident, for goodness sake, and they recognized that for about one episode.

Glee’s good, but it’s nothing like it used to be.

I totally agree. I used to be a hardcore Gleek; watching it religiously and even went and saw them in concert. Now I don’t even watch it, I gave up around the middle of last season. It just doesn’t interest me anymore.
I think Ryan Murphy is dedicating all his time in his new “hit” American Horror Story-which is by the way a great show. (:
