Earlier this month, Justin Bieber was cited for speeding after he was pulled over in his Fisker Karma going over 100 mph. While people immediately pointed the finger at JB for driving recklessly, it wasn’t until later that everyone realized that he wasn’t driving fast on purpose — he was being chased by the paparazzi and was trying to get away. Paul Raef, the paparazzo doing the chasing, is now facing criminal charges for reckless driving, failing to obey the lawful order of a peace officer, two counts of following another vehicle too closely and reckless driving with the intent to capture pictures for commercial gain.
If he is convicted, Paul could face up to a year in prision and fines totaling $3,500! This punishment comes directly from a law signed by former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in order to prevent “photographers who drive recklessly or block sidewalks in pursuit of celebrities and create a sense of ‘false imprisonment.’”
Unfortch, this is not the first time Paul has been in trouble with the law. According to TMZ, another paparazzo filed a temporary restraining order against him in 2010 after he punched his fellow photog in the face due to ruining a picture he was trying to take of Heidi Klum. Okay, paparazzi, we get that your job is to take pictures and all, but do you really have to be so aggressive!? After previously getting into an altercation, Justin is clearly trying trying to avoid you at all costs. Can’t you be a little more subtle?

i am glad that they caught the man and im really relived to find out that Justin Bieber wasn’t speeding like ordinary out of the blue because i love him and i didn’t believe that Justin did that. This makes me really really happy because hes not a bad person and people shouldn’t make him out to be that way
