From Jelena to Miam to Monchele, there are quite a few powerful celeb couples out there. But, when it comes to the pair who can claim the title of ‘World’s Highest Paid Celebrity Couple,’ there is only one. Beyonce and Jay-Z have officially been recognized by Forbes for having the highest combined earnings from May 1, 2011 through May 1, 2012. So, how much do Bey and Jay make exactly, you ask? From hit songs to L’Oreal campaigns, Beyonce made about $40 million in the span of a year. Jay, who toured with Kanye West and dabbled in a health and beauty venture, pulled in about $38 million. So, in case math isn’t quite your forte, that’s a whopping total of $78 million in only one year!

But, Bey and Jay aren’t the only rich celebs (duh) — model Giselle Bundchen and quarterback Tom Brady came in second on the list, making $72 million. And, the world’s most beautiful celebrity couple (in our opinion), Victoria and David Beckham, nabbed the third spot, making $54 million. Hey, Vic & Dave — you better step your games up! Jokes.

Although 2012 is a new year with plenty of opportunities to make tons of cash, it’s possible that Beyonce and Jay-Z will top the list again next year, because Bey is now set to both star in, produce and direct a new documentary! A source states that the film will be “a mix of music and personal study, blending concert footage with confessional interview,” aka another source of revenue. Whateves, we <3 Beyonce and will most likely be the first in line to buy tickets to her movie!
