We are only two days away from owning The Hunger Games on Blu-ray and hosting our midnight watching party. It’s time for another snack to go along with Katniss’ squirrel cookies.
Inspired by the Trackerjackers in the movie that attack the tributes (a major turning point in the Games), we’re using Crackerjacks and drizzling chocolate on them to give them a bumblebee effect. We’re calling them “trackerjacks!”

Step 1: Buy some Crackerjacks and some baking chocolate.
Step 2. Spread the Crackerjacks out on a piece of parchment paper.
Step 3: Break the chocolate into chunks and melt them using either a double boiler (putting a glass dish into a pot of boiling water) or just use a microwave.
Step 4: Scoop the melted chocolate into a plastic sandwich bag and cut a tiny hole in the bottom.
Step 5: Squeeze out the chocolate over the Crackerjacks.

Ohhh, they look good, I might try them!! I probably wouldn’t make it through the blood bath, you’d probably be seeing my face in the sky that night!! The only way I’d make it past is if I completely bypassed the Cornucopia and dashed into the woods!! I would be a Career so I’d be on my own!!
