While the latest Kristen Stewart news hasn’t exactly been stellar — the scandal, potential nix from the Snow White and the Huntsman sequel, Twilight convention dropouts, etc. – things are finally starting to look up for the young actress. Besides beating out Jennifer Lawrence for a coveted movie role, she’s got a fresh campaign. Although rumors circulated that she was possibly let go from her partnership with fashion house Balenciaga as recently as last week, the new issue of Spanish ELLE quickly debunked the theory.
What you see here is Balenciaga’s brand-new ad positioned in the magazine. And, as you can see, the girl featured in black and white is Miss Stewart. So there you have it; gossip squashed. Prior to the Robsten drama, head designer for the brand Nicolas Ghesquière said, “Kristen Stewart embodies the modernity of the new Balenciaga fragrance with her unique sensibility and intelligence… she shares the radical spirit of Balenciaga.” A good enough reason to keep her on the label, wouldn’t you say?
That’s not the only reason Kristen’s making (positive) headlines. She’s also the cover girl for the September 2012 issue of Little White Lies. In her interview, conducted before the big incident, she revealed her passion for acting: ”Oh my god, I f—ing love it so much. I’m like, bursting. I should be working. I don’t want to take a break. It’s funny, on set, I don’t have to go to the bathroom, I don’t have anything wrong, I’m perfectly fine, so through-and-through. I’m not hungry. I’m literally not even in my own body. They wrap and they send me back to my trailer and I f—ing fall to pieces. I suddenly realize that I’ve had to pee for six hours. And I’m starving.” Too much information? Maybe. But what a great attitude.
