Raise your hand if you’ve ever heard of a loris… Anybody? We’re guessing probably not. But whether or not you have, this is the perfect opportunity to get acquainted with the cute nocturnal creatures that make us say “Aww” every single time we see ‘em. (Ever see the video of the slow loris eating a rice ball? Precious!) Check out the gallery below, then tell us if you think they’re cuter than our round-up of baby chipmunks!

In the first picture it looks like they’re looking at each others eyes.
First loris: (gasp) Your eyes are so huge!
Second loris: My eyes!? You should see yours. They’re popping out of your head!
First: Hey what’s that behind you?
As cute as they are, I hope that you’d be able to provide a little bit background story to the slow lorises to educate your ever expanding clientele.
Slow lorises are cute, no doubt, but they do not make good pets. They are nocturnal (active at night), have very sharp teeth and their bites are mildly venomous! Yes they are! Slow lorises are heavily and illegally traded in Southeast Asia. They do not breed well in captivity, so traders take them from the wild to be sold in pet markets. In order to convince buyers, traders remove their teeth, most times in horrific manners so that they can’t bite anybody, or even their food. A lot die while in trade.
That’s just a gist of the story. Please do some background research and educate people who come visit your website. So yes they may be cute, but there is another side of this cute story that I hope you can share.
Thanks!
