We get extremely excited for Halloween because we get to dress up in crazy outfits and eat tons of candy, but mainly because of what you’re about to see. We have combined two of our fave things in the world — dogs and Halloween — to create the perfect (and obviously adorbs) post! Check out all the best costumes for puppies this year:
Effie Trinket
Of course this year’s most popular costume is going to be The Hunger Games‘ Katniss Everdeen. But one fan decided to dress her pooch up like Capitol’s own Effie Trinket! The dog is probably thinking, “Am I going to poop inside or outside tonight? May the odds be ever in your favor!”
A Dinosaur
Does anyone else have a weird obsession with dogs that are dressed as other animals? (No, just us?) Well, let’s just say, Jurassic Park would’ve been a lot cuter in our opinioin if this was what the Velociraptors looked like:
Harry Potter
OMG, cutest dog ever alert! Somehow this puppy looks like a cross between Harry and Dumbledore. (Probably ’cause of all the beard hair.) For real, though, where can we find this dog and how can we steal him?
Snooki
OK, this costume is a little demeaning for dogs (and people), but we couldn’t resist!
Superman
Our country loves a hero. This puppy looks like he’s about to save the planet from an evil villain named The Mailman. (Hey, they’re always targets!)
Bacon
Cute, but don’t be surprised when your dog destroys the costume thinking that it’s real…
Flower Garden
Aww, this fam dressed their pups in matching outfits, making their own little garden of flowers. Hope none of this trio is a boy though…
Fluffy
The three-headed dog from Harry Potter was a bit creepy (and slobbery) in the movies, but you can’t help but fall in love with this mini version.
Mario
This dog is ready to fight some Goombas and Koopas! He’s got his mushroom, shell and an extra question mark just in case he needs flower power. We just seem to be missing his partner in crime.
A Pirate
Move over, Jack Sparrow. There’s a new pirate in town and he’s fierce. This little guy is so cute, but we’re sure he could make you walk the plank if he wanted. Just look at those vampire fangs.

Hello I think some of the costumes are cool the superman 1 is old but the dinosoure 1 was funny
the super man one is soooo funny it gets an A or 95% the mario one is alittle slack but the dog in it makes it get a c+ or 80%
I would dress my dog up as harry potter or mario! Those 2 are soooo cute.
