It’s finally happened — One Direction just graced its first major U.S. magazine cover: Seventeen. And it’s about time, too. The English-Irish cuties are on top of the charts, win basically every award they’re nominated for, and even have their own dolls (which we’re giving away right now by the way). And, most importantly, they want their fans to know more about them. So if you’ve ever wanted to get personal with 1D, read on…
When asked about his ‘bad boy’ reputation, Zayn Malik says, “I like the term misunderstood. But I am a bit of a bad boy. I have tattoos and I mess around. That’s part of my image, so it’s cool.”
If Zayn’s image is “bad boy,” then Harry Styles‘ would definitely be “girl-crazy.” At least in the eyes of the public. But that’s not how he sees it: “I wouldn’t say I’m girl-crazy, because that makes me sound like a bit of a womanizer. That isn’t really me. But I am quite flirty — maybe too flirty. I’m an 18-year-old boy, and I like to have fun…”
Unsurprisingly, Louis Tomlinson (who makes up half of Larry Stylinson) admits that Harry is his bandmate best friend. But he doesn’t leave the others out: “Harry is the guy I can really talk to about anything, but I love to have a heart-to-heart with Zayn as well. And if I’m going to run off and do something crazy, I would choose Liam [Payne]. He’s so carefree and easygoing.”
Oh, and you know how Demi Lovato opened up about not dating Niall Horan to Teen Vogue. Well, Niall dishes on their relationship, too: “The nice thing about Demi is, once you know her, she’s really, really beautiful. We became good friends. It’s so crazy that she can be so honest about everything she’s gone through. She has a fantastic attitude. If I ever needed anything or needed to talk to anybody, I think Demi would be the person to talk to.”
But it wasn’t all good news. Newly-single Liam says, “I am really devastated by the breakup with Danielle [Peazer]. We had an amazing time together, but unfortunately sometimes things don’t go as you planned.”
