Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth’s Matching Tattoos Hit Instagram

by: on | in Celebrity Couples | 3 Comments

We’re all aware that Miley Cyrus loves her ink; we’re also aware that she’s half of the best celebrity couple ever (we didn’t make that up, readers voted for Miam!). So it should come as no surprise that Miley and fiance Liam Hemsworth are both sporting matching tattoos. Here they are on Instagram:

Back in July, Miley revealed a Theodore Roosevelt quote on her left arm that says, “so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who knew neither victory nor defeat” from the former President’s Citizenship in a Republic speech. Now, it appears that Liam’s jumped on the bandwagon with ink that reads, “if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly” from the same speech. HOWEVER, our friends at Cambio do make a valid point: The ink on his arm could be seen in pictures from this past summer. So it’s strange that this should only pop up on Instagram now, ya know? Interesting…

Anyway, are you shocked they took the plunge (unlike Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez)? Do you think it’s smart to get matching tattoos with your significant other? Tell us below, or leave your thoughts on our Miley Cyrus message board!

technically its not matching…and at least they didn’t get their names tattooed now that would be weird if they were to break up. so i don’t see the big deal

for real? after wedding wells?? come on miley… I love you, but.. matching tattoos?

I think that they should’ve waited a few years to see if they really love each other to be together forever. Cause I mean like, tattoos last…FOREVER. So if you’re gonna get a tat, make sure it’s something you want for the rest of your life because it’ll be very, very, very, painful to remove it.
