He may be one of the manliest celebrities around — he poses for photo shoots with lions after all — but that doesn’t mean that Liam Hemsworth‘s immune to common injuries. Case in point, his most recent bout on the Catching Fire set.
While filming the Hunger Games sequel in Atlanta, Liam says, “I twisted my knee. I try to just fight through it. There’s so many people standing around waiting for you to do your thing. You feel sort of obligated not to let everyone down.”
Though he fails to mention how he obtained the bruise exactly (he says it was during a “stunt”), he does acknowledge how much more Gale, as well as the other THG characters, have to endure in this movie: “There’s a bunch of action in this one. All of the characters have much more action than they did in the first one.”
This isn’t even the only flick that’s currently putting him to serious work. He’s also in the process of filming Paranoia with Lucas Till, where he says, “I spent an entire night running through this alley splashing through alley water and all this gross stuff. A concrete alleyway and I’m in suit shoes. I was so unlucky too. I turned up on set and on the first take I got the worst stomach cramps. And I had them the entire night. It’s not that easy.”
