So much sadness for some of our favorite celebrity pets. Not too long ago, Miranda Cosgrove lost her 14-year-old pooch, Pearl, who was there for her since she first started kindergarten. Then, as we’ve seen all over Kim Kardashian‘s Twitter, her cute-as-can-be kitten, Mercy, passed away after suffering from a rare stomach cancer just last week. She was only four months old.
Now, two weeks after meeting the newest member of the Cyrus clan, Penny Lane, comes the shocking news that Miley Cyrus, too, lost a part of her pet family. Just a few moments after telling the world that she “can’t think of one good reason to get out of bed today…” Miley tweets,
for everyone asking… I have never been so hurt in my life. My heart has never been so broken….. Lila my sweet baby girl has passed away.

The Yorkie mix, who had just celebrated her second birthday this past November, visited the hospital early October for an unknown reason. As of this time, the cause of Lila’s passing is also unknown. For now, Miley still can go home to the rest of her loving brood, including Floyd, Ziggy, Happy and Mary Jane.

Shame it was the dog. i was more hoping for its owner….
Together, we can figure out how to kill Miley…We’d be doing the world a favour, really. When the deed is done, I’ll be expecting my nobel peace prize in the post!
