Taylor Swift sang about fairy tales in her hit song “Love Story,” but now it’s come to life — literally. The country cutie is the most recent celeb to pose for fame photographer Annie Leibovitz‘s Disney Dream Portrait series to promote tourism to Disney’s many parks. Taking on the Disney princess Rapunzel from 2010’s hit film Tangled, Taylor sits in a castle waiting for a prince to come and save her as she’s surrounded by her luscious blonde locks. Kind of like real life, no?
Other stars who have posed for this stunning portrait series include actress Olivia Wilde as the evil queen from Snow White, 30 Rock star Tina Fey as Tinkerbell, as well as former couple Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens as Prince Charming and Sleeping Beauty, respectively.
However, when it comes to Taylor’s pic, if you think that lovelorn look is for her ex Harry Styles, think again. The photo was snapped in June of 2012 long before they went public with their romance at the end of the year.
In fact, Taylor can certainly relate to Rapunzel (who spends lots of time locked away in a tower, all by herself), since Taylor recently told Vibe magazine that part of herself just wants to be “alone.” When it comes to her colorful dating past, Taylor said, ““is something I’ve always needed, from when I was young. But I love the idea of romance and falling in love. I’ve never really had a long relationship. So that’s something I think about for the future. It’s an interesting part of my personality.”
