The Wanted

While 2012 treated the guys from The Wanted fairly well, 2013 is already in their favor. With a People’s Choice Awards win for Favorite Breakout Artist over their rivals, One Direction, and two (potential) albums, the notches on the TW good-news belt are piling up. To add on, it’s just been announced that the British boy banders will be starring on their own E! reality series.

Following in the footsteps of the Kardashians, Kevin Jonas and even Olympian Ryan Lochte, the five heartthrobs are taking over the cable network. Twitter’s been blowing up this morning, with buzz about the announcement, including tweets from the band’s official account, as well as Scooter Braun (the band’s shared manager with Justin Bieber) and E! itself.

According to the station, the show, currently titled The Wanted Life, will give fans total access to the lives of the five members, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Max George, Nathan Sykes and Tom Parker, as they live it up in Los Angeles. Ryan Seacrest says the television show’s “bound to include irresistible pop tracks along with plenty of humor, antics and drama behind the scenes.”

If you’re planning on hopping on the Wanted Life bandwagon, tune in to the premiere of the series this June. What do you think of the concept? Are there any other bands you’d like to see on TV? Leave us your thoughts in the comments!
