If every celebrity had a theme song, Shailene Woodley‘s would be Alicia Keys’ “Girl on Fire.” Not only did she receive a Golden Globe nomination last year for Best Supporting Actress – Motion Picture (The Descendants), as well as hit the casting jackpot this year with two huge movie franchises, but she’s also being considered for yet another big-screen role.

Hypable reports that the 21-year-old Secret Life actress is under consideration for the lead part in The Fault in Our Stars, Hazel, a 16-year-old cancer patient who’s forced by her family to attend a support group. During her sessions, she falls in love with another member of the group, Augustus Waters, who’s a former athlete/current amputee.

Shailene’s publicist confirmed the news that the young actress is, in fact, potentially playing the John Green character in the movie adaptation, plus Shailene retweeted the author’s tweet that said:

Currently, Shailene is filming the sequel to The Amazing Spider-Man, alongside on- and off-screen couple Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, and actor Dane DeHaan, who’s playing the role formerly occupied by James Franco, Harry Osborn. Shailene is portraying Kirsten Dunst’s ex-alter ego, Mary Jane Watson, Peter Parker’s love interest after Gwen Stacy.

Soon, she’ll have to leave Andrew and Emma behind, and set off for Chicago to play the main role in the film version of Divergent. However, last time we heard from Shai, she said they’re still on the hunt for the guy who’ll play her love interest:. She tells MTV, “This character needs to be extremely masculine, and his eyes need to scream vulnerability and sensitivity. It’s really hard to find in a dude, especially a dude who can act.”
